An East Berlin building, stoically boarded up and still bearing the scars of bullet holes from a war fought in these very streets.

Through my own bloody negligence I had a minor accident yesterday – a splash of acid hit my eye.

So here I am today, with a scratchy but functioning eye – a tad blurry thanks to the ointment –

and I thought I might take time to meander through my photo library,

reliving both the delights of the sights, and the delight of having sight.

Here area couple of my favourites.

My Dad and my dog - they treated each other so gently, but always with great joy.

I have a thing for early mornings - I think it is the promise a day holds before it gets sullied. This is in Bavaria.to share.

Blackheath golf course on an Autumn morning. Ghastly to play on, but beautiful to walk on!
